PRODUCTION

After earning my Associate’s degree in Fine Arts from Alpena Community College, I attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette to pursue graphic design. While my classmates excelled at designing websites and apps, I found my hand better at designing posters, billboards, and t-shirts. My professor told me that unless I could market myself as a web designer and coder, I would never make it as a graphic designer. So…I took a screen printing class. I fell in love with the process and found myself working on several projects outside of my classwork; even screen printing my senior gallery piece. I graduated from NMU Cum Laude with my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. In my free time I’m elbows-deep in my own projects, jamming out to punk rock music, or swimming as a mermaid in our beautiful lakes. I’m so happy to be a part of the Five Star family and can’t wait to see what the future will hold.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

With a lifelong passion for both design and computers, Gregg graduated in 1995 from Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design and Minors in both Photography and Philosophy. In 1996 he moved to Pullman Washington to take a break from his studies and pursue his other passion, fly fishing. While camping, hiking and fishing in the mountains of Idaho and Montana, he joined the staff of a screen printing company in Pullman and did work for both Washington State University and the University of Idaho. It was here in the screen printing industry that Gregg found a focus for his design skills both academic and corporate. In 2001 Gregg returned to Michigan and settled in Petoskey where he continues to help others realize their design needs.
